How to configure access keys in R27 and R29
✔ For devices with multiple numeric keyboard - R27:
Press “#,” key, “#” in R27’s keyboard to unlock, and then users will hear “The door is now opened.” If users press wrong key, the screen will display “Incorrect Code.”
Setup from website:
Go to Intercom - PrivateKey to configure private keys.
Import /Export Private Key: R27 supports import or export the private key file, which is convenient for dealing with a large number of private keys.
Add private key one by one:
1. Enter the “PKey Name” and 3-8 digits “PKey Code”;
2. Select the valid day and time;
3. Choose which door users want to unlock;
4. Click “Add” to add it into list.
5. Valid private key information will be shown in the list. Users could delete private key information or empty the list.
Go to Intercom - Basic - Public Key to configure public key.
Key Switch: To enable or disable the password unlock, it is much useful for some special occasion which do not allow to use passwords.
Key Value: The public key for the all occupants in a building.
Setup from device:
Press “*3888#” to enter user interface. Press “3” to enter add private pin interface. Before adding private pin code, users need to swipe admin card or enter admin code, and then users can enter a 8-digit private pin code, click “Dial key” to save.
Press “*3888#” to enter user interface. Press “1” to enter public pin modify interface. The default public pin code is 33333333. Before modifying public pin code, users need to swipe admin card or enter admin code, and then users can enter a 8-digit new public pin code, click “Dial key” to save.
✔ For devices with touch screen - R29:
Go to unlock interface and press “key” and Unlock icon to unlock. If it is predefined key, users will hear “The door is now opened” and the screen will display “Open Lock Success.” If it is wrong key, the screen will display “Password Error.”
Setup from website:
Go to Intercom - PrivateKey to configure private keys.

Public Enable: Enable to use the key or not. The default status is on.
PublicKey Bits Limit: Setup the key digits.
Public Key: R29 support 3 default public keys, users can reset a new public key.
Setup from device:
Go to LockPasswd interface to add a private key.
1. Enter the name and a 8-digit private key;
2. Setup the valid day and time for the password;
3. Choose which door users want to unlock;
4. Click “√” to save.
Go to Password - Public Key Passwd interface to configure public key.
1. Enter the old public key;
2. Enter the new public key;
3. Click “save” icon to save.
